Mastitis is a challenge of expanding dairying in many countries, including Bangladesh. An udder health control programme (UHCP) is absent in this country which is indispensable to reduce the prevalence of intra-mammary infection. To develop an UHCP tailored to this situation, a workshop on mastitis control in the setting of developing world will be held on 31 May-1 June 2016 at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) in Bangladesh.
